Grievance Officer
In accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (“DPDP Act”) §8(9) and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021 §3(2), Supabrief AI (operating Supabrief) has appointed a Grievance Officer to address user complaints, data-protection requests, and concerns about the Service.

What you can raise with the Grievance Officer
- Exercise your data-protection rights under the DPDP Act, GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA — access, correction, deletion, portability, withdrawal of consent, opt-out of sale or sharing, etc. (See section 6 of our Privacy Policy.)
- Report a data breach or security concern affecting your account or another user's account.
- Complaints about content generated or stored on the Service that you believe is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
- Disputes about service interruption, billing, or refunds that could not be resolved through standard support channels.
- Questions about our processing of your personal data or our security practices.
Response timeline
We will:
- Acknowledge receipt within 48 hours of the Grievance Officer receiving your message during working hours.
- Resolve or substantively respond within 30 days, in line with DPDP Act §13 and GDPR Article 12(3). Where a complete response is not possible within this window (e.g. complex investigation), we will inform you of the reason and provide an updated timeline.

- A clear description of the issue or request.
- The right you wish to exercise (if applicable).
- Any relevant dates, screenshots, or supporting documents.
If you are not satisfied with our response
If we have not responded within thirty (30) days, or if you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to:
- India: the Data Protection Board of India once it becomes operational under the DPDP Act, or the relevant adjudicating officer under the IT Act 2000.
- European Union: the data protection authority of your EU member state of residence.
- United Kingdom: the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
- California: the California Attorney General's office at oag.ca.gov.
